Raised with strong influences from core family members, Daniel drew artistic inspiration and talent from his mother as a glass blower and grandfather as an architect.

With a background in wood-carving in his adolescence and a love of ceramics in college, Daniel earned his masters degree in arts in LA in 2010. He currently specializes in ceramic lighting design for indoor and outdoor settings, with an emphasis in homes, restaurants, and hotels.

In conjunction with his passion for surfing, Daniel also builds recycled surfboards from up-cycled foam the would otherwise end up in the landfill.

In the two-dimensional realm Daniel creates linoleum block prints, plein air watercolors, and does logo design.
